The purpose of this site is to expose bad science, peer review failures, scientific misconduct and fraudulent behaviour by people who should know better.
Occasionally we will also highlight the causes of bad science. Why do some scientists act the way they do? Could it be the natural consequence of the way science is funded, bad training in graduate school, sloppy supervisors and the insane and ruthless exploitation of graduate and post-graduate students?
Have you found bad science that you think should be investigated? Please share it on the internet!
If you are a PhD-candidate and know about malpractice or exploitation of students, please consider blogging about it. ScienceInsanity would love to have you as a guest blogger!
